September. It brings a change of season, a change of pace.
And we're changing our newsletter to share activities and upcoming events created by us and our partners, and invite you to take action.
Please take a few minutes to watch this video that explains who we are, what we do, and most importantly, why we do it..
We want to say “hello!”
Our staff team has grown and changed over the last year, and we want to say hello! We'd love to connect with you through one of our volunteer opportunities, meet you at one of our upcoming events or over a quick conversation at our office.
Our work preventing wildlife conflict, collaborating on climate change solutions and engaging youth wouldn't be possible without supporters like you.

The season's changing...
... and between enjoying the sunshine and trails, we were sure busy this summer!
In June, over 200 people visited examples of energy efficient homes in Canmore during the Eco Solar Home Tour, presented with Eco Solar Home Tour Society.
Volunteers helped us march in the Canmore Canada Day Parade and talk with community members at the Canmore Folk Festival.
We acted as the Canmore Folk Festival's Environmental Coordinator to make sure as much waste as possible was recycled or composted, and we partnered with Banff Isn't Disposable to maintain and expand this successful reusable container program.
We continue to receive training from the Tamarack Institute and are chairing an Advisory Committee to prepare for a community-wide meeting this fall to accelerate climate action.
And we do all this with help from supporters like you. To make a contribution to advance our work, visit https://www.biosphereinstitute.org/donate.
